Rattery Gallery

I started breeding rats strictly as breeders for my snakes, initially buying one male and four females. The smallest female mysteriously died a couple days later, and the next day so did the male... but by the time the male died my three females were already pregnant. I waited anxiously for the babies to come, as these were also my pet rats.
Well when the babies came, I kept a couple and then it started. I quickly learned everything there is to know about all the different types of rats.  My collection grew.

I will try to keep this page updated with my newest type. Below I will have a list of the current colors, coat types, and other "mutations" I will be working with. There are many other types, but I only want to portray the ones I currently have or previously have had.       The Growth of Pinkies

I DO sell rats as pets, as they are smarter, cleaner, and way more interesting than gerbils and/or hamsters. Feeder rats are from $0.79 for pinkies to $3.50 for jumbos. Pet/fancy rats are played with every day in our Petting Center, and are $6.00.
Blues, Dumbos, Siamese, and Hairless are $10.00. I also, very rarely, sell mixes of these (ex: a Hairless Dumbo, Blue Double Rex, or Dumbo Siamese, to name a few, but if you're lucky, I may not decide to keep ALL of them... :-)
