Clown Ball Python Gallery

ABOUT CLOWNS:
Physical Description: Clowns are named after their aberrant head patterns. Some have a bright orange pattern, some just have a brown head, like mine. They are a very solid golden color with a dark brown to black dorsal stripe running all the way to the tail. Unbroken stripes are favored over the incomplete stripes. Also, there are "alien heads" between the vertical stripes, and some clowns don't even have vertical stripes, but all have dark tongues.
Behavioral Description: Clowns, in my opinion, (and this is very stereotypical) are pretty vicious and will strike at pretty much anything. They will stay in a very tight ball for hours sometimes, and others they will go crazy keep trying to wiggle out of your hands. Because of their mean and "dominant" like behaviors, they make GREAT eaters and breeders. They make the perfect investment, but a very poor pet, unless you enjoy watching your snakes swallow your fingers...

Sorry, He's in shed in all the above pics, he's a little thicker and brighter now.

Two updated pics on 4/12. He is now 440 grams, and tried to breed to Sparks. He's ready!!

ABOUT MY CLOWN:
My clown, yet to be names, fits the above description perfectly. He strikes at me any chance he gets, but because of this, he is really an awesome eater and will hopefully breed rather quickly. I DO have a female het for him, she is 600 grams now (1/14/07) and he is 350 grams. He might breed this year, but not that female. They will make an awesome breeding pair of '08 though, and plan on producing some clowns then, and keeping the females to produce lemon clowns. Can't wait!
