Ok, here's the story. A lady named Karen has a two year
Veiled Chameleon. It has had two clutches so far, and
another on its way. The first clutch was said to be all
infertile. The second was a good clutch of 39 eggs, but she
didn't have anything to do with them, so they're gone. Well
now, either from retained sperm or a second breeding, she
has a third clutch coming. This time, she wanted things to
go right. She is friends with one of my relatives, and my
relative told me of Karen's predicament. Well, of course I
would like to hatch out some chameleons, so here I am,
taking care of it for her and I plan on hatching out the
eggs. Karen also said this female looks bigger now than when
she laid her 39 eggs, so I'm hoping for something in the
40's, or higher if I'm really lucky!
I will post as much information as I can as I go through
this. Keep checking back if you're interested!
November 12: She finally laid her eggs this morning! All 36
of them. They fit in the incubator perfectly.
Now it's time
to wait.... Eggs are due between May 1st and July 12th.
